Determine your point of origin and arrival airport in Costa Rica. The closest international airport to Hotel Hacienda La Pacifica is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR) in Liberia, Guanacaste.
If you’re flying into Liberia, you have several options for getting to the hotel. The hotel is located about 1.5 hours away from Liberia, so you can choose to rent a car, take a taxi or hire a private transfer. If you prefer, our company can also arrange a shuttle service for an additional fee.
If you decide to rent a car, there are several rental car companies available at the airport. Be sure to have a valid driver’s license and a credit card. The drive from Liberia to the hotel is relatively easy, and you can follow the signs for Route 1 (Inter-American Highway) towards Puntarenas. After about 50 km, turn right towards La Amistad Bridge and then take a left at the first intersection towards Hacienda La Pacifica.
If you prefer to take a taxi, there are plenty of taxis available at the airport. Make sure you agree on the fare before starting the journey. Taxis are usually metered, but it’s always a good idea to confirm the price in advance.
Finally, if you’re not flying into Liberia, you can still get to Hotel Hacienda La Pacifica from other parts of Costa Rica. The hotel is located about 3 hours from San Jose by car, and you can also take a bus from San Jose to Puntarenas and then take a taxi or private transfer to the hotel.
