Additionally, the restaurant has a capacity for 100 people and offers a diversified menu that can satisfy any palate including traditional and international dishes.

The Natural Caño Negro Lodge restaurant hours are very flexible. Breakfast is served from 7:00-9:00 a.m., lunch from 12:00-3:00 p.m. and dinner from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. Guests can enjoy the delicious traditional food in a calm and pleasant environment, surrounded by the exotic nature of the restaurant. GETTING HERE
There are several options to get to the Natural Caño Negro Lodge from San Jose, Costa Rica:

The first option is by car – taking the Interamerican Highway north and following the signs towards ‘Ciudad Quesada’, continuing Route 4 until you arrive at ‘Los Chiles’, arriving shortly after that at el Caño Negro and the lodge. This route takes approximately 3 hours.

Another option is by bus – taking a bus to ‘Los Chiles’ or ‘Ciudad Quesada’ from ‘San Jose’ and then taking a taxi or private transportation to the lodge. This route can take between 4 and 5 hours.

 

Third and last option is by domestic flight – taking a flight from San Jose to the ‘La Fortuna’ or ‘Liberia’ airport, and then taking a taxi or private transportation to the lodge with a duration of around one hour.
In case you’re looking for the cheapest and fastest option, you can take a bus from ‘San Jose’ to ‘Ciudad Quesada’ and then a taxi to el Caño Negro with a total travel time of approximately 3 hours and a cost of around €10 – €15. However, for convenience, it’s recommended to take a taxi or private transportation directly from San Jose to the lodge. The distance between San Jose and Caño Negro is 131 km (81 miles) taking approximately 3 hours and 35 minutes by car. Also, from other nearby airports such as ‘Liberia’ or ‘La Fortuna’, you can take a taxi or private transportation to the lodge taking between 2 and 3 hours.
